When sifting through the aftermath of the so-called deal in Copenhagen, it’s hard to decide who won.
Environmental groups are calling it a ‘failure’, which logically means that they lost right? But Brian Lilley says that those on the other side of the equation are equally dismayed if not more so.
Lilley explains that Lord Christopher Monckton’s greatest fear has been realized – namely that the framework has been set in place for an ‘unelected international bureaucracy‘ which is the code word for ‘world government’.
Of course UN didn’t get everything it wanted but the pressure will be on for a legally binding agreement in the near future. Many nations are wary of the implied loss of sovereignty including China.
Lilley explains:
…It’s not just the monitoring that would violate the sovereignty of China, or any other country that believes in such antiquated concepts, but also the idea put forward by Suzuki and others that there will be an international body that can impose sanctions upon countries that do not meet emissions reductions targets. There would also be a loss of national sovereignty if the proposal to have an international tax established to pay for this fund were agreed to.
One of the proposals discussed widely at the conference, and supported by European countries, was for a tax on aviation fuel and bunker fuel, the energy source for international shipping. The levy upon these two carbon-emitting fuels would be passed onto the International Maritime Organisation, a division of the United Nations, which would then oversee the distribution of funds. What do we generally call bodies that impose and collect taxes, that can impose penalties and monitor what you do? Government…
So while we may have won this battle, we must remain vigilant.
Thankfully we have a Prime Minister with our best interests at heart. He is politically savvy enough to know how to safeguard our trading interests without potentially losing massive economic ground by giving into political posturing such as that done by Chretien at Kyoto, and possibly even losing our sovereignty.
It’s a delicate balance, but I am ever the more thankful that Canada is blessed with Stephen Harper as our Prime Minister. And I see every one of those Fossil Awards as testimony to his excellent leadership of our country.

Sunday Update:
Lord Monckton on Copenhagen via Dr. Roy.

Perhaps one of the dumbest, most dangerous moves made by Chretien was to even sign on to Mo Strong’s Kyoto. He soon realized he couldn’t possibly follow up and implement it’s dictates and survive so he did nothing for over a decade.
Signing on to any agreement takes away power from our government to even work in the best interest of our own economy, we could become a poor nation in time which is Strong’s dream, shut down industrialized nations.
We are so damned lucky we have the PM we do at this time for reasons he proved in Copenhagen. He didn’t sell us out, we are still in control of our destiny.
It is clear that China will defend it’s sovereignty. It is also clear to me that obama’s cap and tax will fail. There are no binding targets. I doubt binding targets will come in 2010.
I am also very proud of HM PM Harper. He stood up for the interest of. Canada, in the face of massive pressure and daily buffoonery.
The next step is the demise of the UN.

“Failure in Copenhagen
Gunning Full Throttle into the Greenhouse
What a disaster. The climate summit in Copenhagen has failed because of the hardball politicking of the United States, China and several other countries — and because people just can’t seem to fathom how catastrophic climate change will be. They probably won’t have long to wait before things become a bit clearer.
The global climate summit in Copenhagen has failed. There will be no concrete goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Industrialized countries extended no concrete offers of hope to developing countries. Newly industrializing countries, such as India and China, can continue to grow their economies without any checks and balances for the climate.
In the run-up to the conference, scientists, environmentalists and politicians alike called it one of the most important in history. But now it’s just a missed opportunity. Likewise, it might just be one of the last of its kind in the battle against climate change.
It took governments from around the world 17 years to come together for this summit in Copenhagen — 17 years of talking, seemingly endless negotiations, ideological debates, delays and maneuvering. It’s been 17 years since the first climate-related meeting, held in Rio in 1992. It’s been 17 years of searching for solutions to confront the threats resulting from climate change. And this is what we’re left with. Many of the hopes that had been building up since 1992 have now been shattered.
Right up until shortly before the end, it looked like they might have been able to prevent Copenhagen from failing. The last drafts of the final declaration included provisions not only for limiting the rise of global temperatures to 2 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels by 2050, but also for how this could be achieved. There was mention of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent by 2050 and even the possibility of a mid-term goal by 2020.

OF course, she is pontificating on how the greenies got their points across.

Kind of have the feeling our PM knows exactly what he’s doing hitching our wagon to the US on this issue for more reasons than one. It also gives our Socialist/Leftist moonbats who love Obama dearly little room to criticize PM Harper.
The Iggster who dwells in the house of the Opposition has nothing to offer, he has told us many times that’s not his job. All he figures he has to do is oppose without offering up his idea of a better way and we’ll reward him for nothing, just take our chances at a grab bag.
Wonder if the Gore, Suzuki and lesser GW toadies like Lizzie May and Jacko Layton are bemoaning the carbon spewing transit used to get their butts to the big bust in Copenhagen?
Looks like a long haul for not much more than a coffee and a danish with free sex thrown in for those so inclined.
At least our PM had the good sense to let his Environment Minister give the big speech while he attended a dinner with the Queen of Denmark.
Thank goodness the CBC has Rex Murphy – of course the usual screams of ‘denier’ are being bandied about.
My comment questions those commentors and others who have posted here over the last few days (Wednesday that means you) when they choose to blindly follow a ‘science’ so involved with activists.
Here is what I wrote.
Thank God that the CBC has Rex Murphy!
I would love to hear anyone ask David Suzuki why he changed his pontification of the coming Ice Age (all with data pointing towards drought, and wind, and storms as the proof) back in the 70′s to his newest scam..er religion – the Coming Heat Wave – coincidentially – all with the same proof.
Why does no one question this.
The fact that many commenters here point to the ‘emails’ as just a crime so they can be dismissed and then shout DENIER at anyone who challenges them, tells me that the war is not won.
When dictators who have raped and pillaged their countrymen rate standing ovations and our Country (which it has been proven has only 2% of the worlds greenhouse gases (whatever those are)) gets the award for the dirtiest country, why do these ‘envrionuts’ not see that they are being had.
Yet they shout “Denier” and walk away – smug in their knowledge that they are right – after all, a guy who studies bugs and a failed presidential candidate told them there is irrefutable evidence and that we should just not listen to any scientist who has a different view.
I get a kick out of some of the comments that say that those who do not believe in global warming just want to believe those scientists who say it is a scam.
How funny…after all, isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black? ”
It is now time to stand up and shout back at the Wednesday’s of the world. This was never about climate, it was about taking down those nations that have, through democracy and determination, succeeded where others, through dictatorship and intimidation, are failing.
Time to call the kettle what it is.
TrueWest says: The next step is the demise of the UN.
Couldn’t happen fast enough IMHO.
Joanne, there are mid term Congressional elections coming up next year in the U.S., many expect the Democrats will lose control of the House, Obama will be a lame duck president.
This, so called, agreement that the “O” brokered in the dying seconds of Jokenhagen was his desperate act of grasping at straws in a vein attempt to keep his “tax and cap” on life support.
Obama’s two major policy initiatives, health and climate bills, are going down the toilet in spite of him reaching in and trying to save them.
It’s no small wonder this empty suit has the worst approval ratings after one year in office of any president in modern times.
The only thing that Obama brought to Jokenhagen was just so much hot air.

Review, investigate, prosecute, convict.
If you look back in time , the UN was initially founded after WW2 , and at that time was primarily controlled by the USA , Britain , Russia and China , and most other countries were bit players. Eventually Germany and Japan recovered in the 60′s and 70′s , but they seemed to prefer remaining in the background during the Cold War.
With the collapse of Russia and Communism in Eastern Europe / Russia , the UN has slowly but perceptibly been taken over by despotic countries who have absolutely no interest in democracy , and by those of the left who feel abandoned by the demise of Communism.
So … many years after the UN was founded to replace the failed League of Nations , here in late 2009 , the UN itself has shown itself to be yet another failed League of Nations at the Copenhagen conference.
The irony of Copenhagen is not the issue of climate change fraud , but that the UN which was austensibly founded on democratic principles (choke choke ..) after WW2 , has been taken over by leftist Communists … Stalin and Mao would be smiling in their respective graves !
Yes, these are tenuous times. Anybody who has studied Revelation in the Bible knows that soon after the establishment of a new world order/government, the anti-christ will appear…..Just saying….So what Lord Monckton says is right on the money…
I agree with Bruce. The demise of the UN would be a good thing. It is the despots and thugs running that show now…. Re Copenhagen, the moment the thugs like Mugabe and Chavez got up there to lecture us, that’s when we should have had the balls to say “This is ridiculous” and got out of dodge…
Now it’s up to the US Senate to kill global warming.
I can only hope that this was the PM’s plan all along.
I DO NOT want a penny of my taxes to go to the UN under any circumstances!!!!
This is from the Chavez speech:
“our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell….let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.”

I share your concerns, Jo, but as a couple of others have pointed out, 2010 is the midterm elections for the US. Americans will be totally focussed on domestic politics, with both parties aiming for control of Congress, and Obama risks losing even more of the independent support he needs if he tries to go down the environmental path.
So whatever the third world votes for in Mexico next summer is unlikely to be supported by either the US or China, and will simply be yet another non-binding arrangement.

There are a number of political theorists that have stated that being “conservative green” is a real winner for a conservative/right wing party. I suggest that we on the right begin to promote a green strategy and leave the glow-bull warming/CO2 to the left.
It can be as simple as “recycling and re-using” by promoting Canadian companies rather than shipping our waste off-shore. Let’s clean up our lakes and rivers, attack city air pollution, promote getting better and better gas mileage. There are so many things that we could spend our monies on rather than carbon credits. Let the market rule, let Government take a hands off approach but a guiding approach and let the citizens take charge.

WCT, I totally agree with you, the focus should never have been on the lie of Glo-Bull Warming, the focus should always have been on the development of technologies that reduce the amount of airborne particulate pollution from all sources from industrial to household, minimizing or stopping the contamination of water sources, last but not least is putting a stop to the tabloid trash journalism that is for the most part the entire MSM in this country, it should be a criminal offense to knowingly lie and put out, so called, news that is nothing but fraudulent propaganda.
The ruse of using unnamed sources really grinds my gears.
The GISS, CRU, NOAA and NIWI data has to all be released for judicial review and where fraud is found to be present those responsible should be charged, tried and if convicted jailed for a very, very long time indeed.

Yes, Joanne, according to Spector, Charest can kiss away any hopes of being Conservative leader anytime soon, as the West sees him as persona not grata. I noted in one of the comments to Spector’s piece that not all the west follows Alberta’s lead re Charest. Really??? Sask has just as much to lose from any climate change cap and trade tax as Alberta. Not everybody out West here has drunk the kool-aid, if it wasn’t for the threat of the NDP resurgence here in BC, Gordo “I Love Carbon Taxes” Campbell would have been turfed a long, long time ago.

I don’t think there is the slightest chance of the US Senate ratifying any Copenhagen agreement Obama might sign. An anti Kyoto resolution passed 95-0 just 12 years ago.
The danger for Canada is that the government might sign an agreement Obama OKs, and not have the escape hatch of a ratifying body. This is in effect how Canada ended up with the metric system, the Americans signed on without any intention of trying to get approval from Congress. I think PMSH is aware of this trap and will proceed carefully.
Hi,
I am tired of left and their propaganda on climate change. What change be inb Calgary or Edmonton. Climate change is nothing else than wealth distribution. It is modern Robinhood. No thanks, I do not need to listen to climatechange prophets of Doom & Gloom. Obama will lose on the long run and will be one term President. WE do not need Socialists and dictators like him. Tony

The winners are the Conservative Party base, who pushed Harper in the right direction, and he delivered.
The left is always looking for THE issue which will split our Party, and for a while it looked like Copenhagen would do the trick for them. But the left, as usual, under-estimate Harper’s political skills.
Another good example was how the Bloc was playing games with their “Quebec is a nation” Parliamentary motion. There was a tremendous amount of pressure on our Quebec MPs to vote with the Bloc, but Harper found a way out for them and the rest of the CPC caucus, with his revised motion, that included “… within a united Canada”.
Once again, Harper’s strong leadership, with his hard, smart work, gets the job done.
As Nietzsche said: “Whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”. And that’s how I feel about our Party right now. We are a lot stronger for having survived this onslaught from all corners from so many enemies.

“Major Snowstorm Blankets US Capital
Forecasters say snow accumulations could reach 60 centimeters around Washington DC
A snow emergency has been declared in the U.S. capital as the region braces for what may prove to be the largest December snowstorm since 1932.
The National Weather Service predicts more than 30 centimeters of snow will blanket the U.S. northeast by late Saturday. Forecasters say snow accumulations could reach 60 centimeters around Washington DC.
Just south of the capital in Virginia, more than 12 centimeters had already fallen by late Friday. The national guard is on alert, and a state of emergency has been declared.
While the country’s entire northeast will see considerable snowfall, the Washington area is expected to be among the hardest hit. The U.S. National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning in the capital for Saturday, warning residents travel will be “extremely dangerous.”

Joanne at 12:52 pm:
“Soccermom – The day Jean Charest becomes leader of the CPC is the day I tear up my membership card.”
Ditto.
And if Charest runs again as Liberal Premier of Qc, he’s getting a spoiled ballot with a nice message from me.
However, I personally don’t want to fuel any open animosity between Harper and Charest, because the PM needs as much support from us as possible. Stoking a feud pitting provinces against each other doesn’t help the PM. He’s still in minority territory, there are still thorny issues around, and the electorate, largely uninformed, can turn on a dime.
I still maintain PM Harper and Min Prentice came out the winners in Copenhagen, regardless of how many articles the CP writes about them being “snubbed” or not on Obama’s guest list. Remember that the environuts wanted an even more stringent application of Kyoto, meaning developing nations would be getting funding from 32 or so developed nations, but they themselves wouldn’t have to work towards lowering their own emissions. Now with this Cop accord they do, even though it’s not binding. But at least there’s the recognition that IF it’s a planetary problem, every country has to work towards a solution in its own backyard. I can live with that.
PM Harper has successfully made everyone adopt his POV: a global problem needs a global solution. That has been his idea all along, no matter how the environuts want to DENY the fact. Kudos to PM Harper!
And just to make sure we know whom we’re against, here’s some examples of how all that money and hot air were expended by the people who want to save the planet …

Truth be told this whole AGW was never about AGW. What’s more Copenhagen was a huge success even as it seemed a failure.
The point is that there is a movement afoot to bring a world wide governance structure (WWG). It was able to ride a corrupt secular priesthood aka scientists to create a false global crisis that requires global oversight to control. Even though the AGW crisis has been exposed as a sham the stage has been set that with a few more artificial hysterias the WWG cabal will be able to bring in a more formal governance structure.

Very well said, Brian.
I was just sitting here thinking back to where we were a year ago with Parliament in turmoil and the Coalition such a threat.
It was the power of regular Canadians making their voices heard that made Ignatieff scrap that idea, and I believe that we made a difference again with our strong opposition to any binding deal in Copenhagen.
We had lots of regulars sending emails, writing letters to the editor etc. So our voices were heard loud and clear.

Anyone watching the news on Fox and the problems with that blizzard. Thousands of passengers stranded, flights cancelled, over 4000 car accidents, thousands without power.
Hey, they are just getting a taste of no co2 emmissions, and they don’t like it.
And those stranded in a tunnel from Paris to London, when 4 trains broke down, no heat, no light. Bet they were happy someone had some emmission equipment to push/pull them out.
Did lizzie/layton/charest and their pack of idiots make it home. I wonder how many of those stranded in cars have proper clothing or extra water and food.
Here’s a beautiful carol, lyrics by Robert Herrick (1591-1674) and music by the incomparable John Rutter (Cambridge Singers):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjjqP_xtEdE
What Sweeter Music
What sweeter music can we bring
Than a carol, for to sing
The birth of this our heavenly King?
Awake the voice! Awake the string!
Dark and dull night, fly hence away,
And give the honor to this day,
That sees December turned to May.
Why does the chilling winter’s morn
Smile, like a field beset with corn?
Or smell like a meadow newly-shorn,
Thus, on the sudden? Come and see
The cause, why things thus fragrant be:
‘Tis He is born, whose quickening birth
Gives life and luster, public mirth,
To heaven, and the under-earth.
We see him come, and know him ours,
Who, with his sunshine and his showers,
Turns all the patient ground to flowers.
The darling of the world is come,
And fit it is, we find a room
To welcome him. The nobler part
Of all the house here, is the heart.
Which we will give him; and bequeath
This holly, and this ivy wreath,
To do him honour, who’s our King,
And Lord of all this revelling.
What sweeter music can we bring,
Than a carol for to sing
The birth of this our heavenly King?
Thanks for the kind wishes Batb, Mary T & Sammy. I wish you all a peaceful and joyous Christmas.
I still bet that the g/child will be more interested in the wrappings than the contents, (this Christmas only)

‘Glad you liked the carol, Joanne. I guess it does sound like angels — perhaps the effect John Rutter intended! It’s one of my favourites.
Just a quick note about why Iggy is no longer so keen to have an election next year or perhaps the year after, it has something to do with his sudden fascination with pensions.
The 2006 Canadian federal election (more formally, the 39th General Election) was held on January 23, 2006, in which Iggy was first elected as an MP. He needs six years as an MP to qualify for that gold plated pension.
The question is will he still be an MP let alone still be the leader of the Liberals in late January 2012?

“Barack Obama denies accusations that he ‘crashed’ secret Chinese climate change talks
Senior US officials insist that President Barack Obama did not “crash” a secret Chinese meeting in the final dramatic hours of the Copenhagen climate change talks.
They portrayed the President as pulling negotiations back from the brink of collapse on a day that veered between chaos and farce.
Aides said that by standing up to the Chinese on the make-and-break issue of transparency, he helped force a deal, however flimsy.
The President was desperate not to return to Washington empty-handed after his risky one-day dash to Denmark.”

Mary T @ 11:07 pm – Yes, my hubby is well deserving of thanks. He has changed from being just a patient observer of this process to actively assisting me with occasional comment moderation when I’m away, and also with lots of tips and ideas.
When the baby was born he bought me a laptop so that I could stay on top of things from my daughter’s place. How cool is that?

Maz2, they can’t say that about Obama, can they? I thought everything that went wrong in the world was Stephen Harper’s fault.
Actually, has anyone in our media or any in our opposition mentioned Obama’s Copenhagen performance? When it comes to the big Hope and Change, it’s see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.
Also, there isn’t much talk about Obama’s low approval rating, something we were always apprised of when Bush was in power, they criticized his every move and looked for gotcha moments.
[...] Bec we have Mary Did You Know? by Kenny Rogers & Wynonna [...]
I’m actually quite pleased to see that Obama is having sober second thoughts about the reality of being in charge vs. what he said when campaigning. Politics is about compromise and even Obama has had to face that fact.

Interesting read over at SDA on how the Prince of Peace – Obama – acted on the world stage.
And yet, from the MSM – not a peep.
Can you even imagine if Stephen Harper had acted like this, or GWB??
I guess ‘destroying the international reputation’ depends on which color you wear, right?
There was a report of this temper tantrum on Fox, shortly after it happened, with a live report. It happened, and O was snubbed. Really snubbed, not like the faux snub that the PM got.

Good morning Blue folks! 41* F in qualicum Beach this morning rain, no shovelling unlike those folks further south. Good postings this morning, Lot’s of hissy fits in the MSM directed at POUTUS Obama by the usual Green suspects, not suprisin’ they are findin’ the Emperors clothes have no Emperor. Let the “rent seekin” United Nations know we are aware of,
The envy and avarice they bear towards us.
We will not pay any price, based on false prophecies
we will not bear any burden based on fraudulent statistics.
We will not Impose hardship on our citizens, by supporting our enemies.
We will oppose this attempt by the U.N. to impose a world government, UN-elected, UN-accountable
We will face these challenges, Internationally and at home, from those who seek to subvert our freedom, to ensure our survival, prosperity, the continuing success of our democracy.
We will fight in our Parliament, in our media, and on the Internet. We will never surrender our sovereignty.
To do less than this would be to forget those that ” gave their today, so we could have a tomorrow” God rest them we do remember.
Our legacy from the greatest generation will live on, it is alive today in Afghanistan, our troops God bless them have shown the Canadian Spirit still lives. To those who seek to smear them, who won’t stand behind them, well you are welcome to stand in front of them.
Lincoln said “you cannot make a poor man rich, by making a rich man poor.” The Chavez’s, Mugabe’s of the U.N.’s alternate universe want us to pay, not a plea for a hand up, a demand for a hand out. UN-believable UN-acceptable. To enrich those who oppose Democracy,Freedom, and human dignity is wrong by any measure I can apply to it. Time to either massivly reform the U.N. or simply walk away from it it is the most corrupt useless organization on earth.

BLACKMAIL LETTERS TO THE INHABITANTS OF GENTOFTE WHICH IS A SUBURB OF COPENHAGEN, DENMARK.
The following letter of intimidation and demands for Jitzya appeared yesterday Dec 16 2009 in Jyllandsposten Danmark.
http://jp.dk/indland/krimi/article1921938.ece
This letter is dated Dec 3rd 2009 and was mailed to all families of Gentofte.
,,For some time we have kept you under our scope. You are blessed with a lovely family and we hope you appreciate this fortune of live, nothing is static. We apologize for the poorly chosen time of approach (Your holy month), and will respectfully keep a distance whilst you and your family enjoys your RR.
Our lives may sometimes turn down a road we didn´t foresee, on some occasions we can change this course, on others we can´t.
Your live is about to take such a turn, and it is up to you if you want to get back on track, entirely up to you, we might add!
In our country, we are so familiar to changes, radical changes, so we know what we are talking about. Your part of the world have exploited us for centuries (not you personally though), so in all fairness it would be appropriate if you lend a helping hand.
For some reason we can´t get your government to take appropriate course of action, hence this solution.” (more)

“Global Warming Zealot: Copenhagen “A Crime Scene” For Failing To Pay The Bribes
Oh the humanity!
Lumumba Di-Aping, chief negotiator for the G77 group of 130 developing countries, said the deal had “the lowest level of ambition you can imagine. It’s nothing short of climate change scepticism in action. It locks countries into a cycle of poverty for ever. Obama has eliminated any difference between him and Bush.”
John Sauven, executive director of Greenpeace UK, said: “The city of Copenhagen is a crime scene tonight, with the guilty men and women fleeing to the airport. Ed Miliband [UK climate change secretary] is among the very few that come out of this summit with any credit.” It is now evident that beating global warming will require a radically different model of politics than the one on display here in Copenhagen.”
Lydia Baker of Save the Children said world leaders had “effectively signed a death warrant for many of the world’s poorest children. Up to 250,000 children from poor communities could die before the next major meeting in Mexico at the end of next year.”
~~~
Negotiators will now work on individual agreements such as forests, technology, and finance – but, without strong leadership, the chances are that it will take years to complete.
What a freakin joke. A death warrant for 250,000 children becaaaaaause? Isn’t it obvious….the third world countries wanted this scam to continue so those rich nations could pay them off. But hey, some people are still getting rich:”
So, iffy is predicting a majority govt for himself. Has he any idea of the security costs for a hotel. Mind you, it would cut down on staff as the hotel would supply it.
State dinners at the hotel. Do they take pets.
He should have said, if elected as PM, we would probably look for other housing until the residence at 24 suxxex is brought up to standard.
Why is it good enough for PMSH but not for him.
At least now, when they do start to renovate, the liberals can’t complain. Iffy has said it is not suitable.
Iffy actually said that? Holy sh*t Sherlock, he’s really got a plan going? Sounds more like a pipe dream after smoking the drapes. He and Oh Suzzzzanna may be checking out but not sure where their ultimate destination will be since the people of Canada have a say in who gets to have the option of moving into 24 Sussex whatever it’s condition.
Somehow I think the condition of 24 Sussex should be the least concern for Iffy.
Note that he uses the future tense – not the conditional.
Unbelievable arrogance. Too bad I’m trying to take a break here. That would be perfect fodder for a new post.
So, iffy is predicting a majority govt for himself.
Another example of breathtaking arrogance.
I see that BC Blue is taking one for the team and covering this.
The fact Iggy is musing about where he and the Mrs would live when not if he becomes PM seems a little cart before the horse but it does tell us where his priorities are. He has a whole house to get together among the divided LPC before he worries about bricks and mortar.
He’s just given more fodder to those of us who view him as arrogant and loaded with pomposity.He doesn’t seem all that swift,perhaps it’s because he’s so deep into thinking thoughts he blurts out without thinking who’s listening. After all when he’s in Calgary he’s pro Oil Sands, in Ontario, not so much.
Liz J – If you check out Mary T’s comment here, it seems that the line was taken out of context.
Right Joanne. IF he were PM he and Zsue wouldn’t be too difficult to deal with for accommodations. He’d give up the official res while the old shack is revamped.
