Scott Reid’s directive lives on

The official Liberal Party of Canada’s website displays some of its brilliant strategy and great taste.  (H/T Liz J and Maz2)

I assume Peter Donolo has seen all this. Perhaps he was the one that suggested they remove an image of our Prime Minister being assassinated. Clearly your party needs a bit more adult supervision, Peter.

And is this the light you’ve been hiding under your bushel, Michael Ignatieff? You can keep it. Even your base seems to think it is disgusting. How will our Canadian media friends react, I wonder?

BTW – Merry Christmas. Peace on earth and all that.

Liberal photo contest takes macabre turnGlobe (H/T Jad)

Kady (H/T Jad) rightly points out:

…AFTERTHOUGHTDATE: As pointed out by Commenter Beachcomber, this particular web offence would seem to merit a more direct apology — as in, one directed at the prime minister, personally, from the Liberal leader than an update to the webpage. Also, comparing the kerfuffle to “Attila the Hun complaining about the Romans’ table manners,” as A Senior Liberal Official did this morning, according to the Globe’s Jane Taber? Not really helping sell the sincerity.

So when are we going to hear from the rest of MSM about the outrageous, U.S -style attacks? (H/T Frmgrl)

Canadian Sense has a dynamite post up with links to other bloggers following this topic – and they’re not all conservative.

Liberals post assassination photo to mock HarperKelly MacParland, Post

The Libranos: The Photo ContestSDA

And they call this an ‘apology’???:

“Though we do screen the pictures before posting them, it appears the Lee Harvey Oswald picture slipped through the cracks – it has since been removed. We apologize to those who took offence to the image.”

The author of the blog that appears to have discovered the photo, rjjago.wordpress.com, called it “ignorant” for the Liberals to post such a depiction so soon after the bloody attack on Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who suffered a broken nose and lost teeth this week after a man threw a statue at him at a rally.

The Liberals have also removed a photo depicting the prime minister with his hand up the rear end of a cow.

“It was considered a joke on methane emissions from cattle. But since it can be misinterpreted, it was taken down as well,” said Lauzon…

Um…the usual…Nothing to see here folks, move along.

Now if the CPC had done it with Iggy…..well, nuff said.

  2. James says:

puffin poop crosses the border. A year ago last Septmember, you found great humour in the poop jokes. Suddenly, you’ve become all about keeping it civil? What a laugh! Funnier yet, is your concern for known anti-Semite and racist Marc Lemire at the end of your poop post. Sanctimonious and hypocritical, the hallmarks of the conservative blogger.

  3. Well, on the other hand, it does say something about the Canadian MSM that they’re virtually ignoring that photo — namely, their liberal.ca is so irrelevant to real politics that it’s not worth paying attention to.

They were right to take that Harper = Lee Harvey Oswald photo down, though. Suggesting the assassination of political leader, particularly a current one, will always trigger the interest of the RCMP, and thanks to the sponsorship scandal the Liberals have had enough visits from them, thank you very much.

  4. Joanne says:

James, you are so far out to lunch you must have spaghetti for brains.

First of all, are you seriously equating puffin poop with an image of our PM being assassinated? The only way you could do that is if the puffin had dumped so much crap that Dion had suffocated in it.

Secondly, the Lemire link was a warning to bloggers about the possible legal problems related to allowing quacks like you post comments.

  5. Michael Harkov says:

Really James, a bird crapping on Ignatieff’s shoulder and the PM being assassinated. What is the distinction? Come on James, get real.

  6. Michael Harkov says:

Sorry, that was supposed to be “on Dion’s shoulder.”

  7. Joanne says:

    That’s o.k. Michael.

Those Liberal Leaders change so often it’s hard to keep track.

  8. Ontario Girl says:

Wasn’t it Beer and Popcorn Reid ,that first said “Kill him, Kill him DEAD?” Nothing like leaving an image of someone shooting the Prime Minister, for some WACKO to get idea’s. This is what the Liberal party is all about, and can you imagine those same people want to be the Goverment.Sickening.
Where’s the CBC OUTRAGE, BREAKING NEWS? To busy with the draft papers from 2007 reporting today on CBC radio they were documents..no mention that the papers were rough draft copies. No wonder people have tuned out.

  11. James says:

Tories trigger bullet brawl. Did you find Dion’s mock assassination disgusting and depressing also? Was it OK for the sitting government to post an image of the leader of the Opposition surrounded by bullet holes on their home page?

The image that has you all worked up came from a rank and file Canuck dissatisfied with the Harper government. The image of Dion riddled with bullets was created and paid for by the Conservative Party of Canada. Living a lie will do little to revive your Christmas spirit.

It’s a criminal offense to make death threats, how is that picture any different from making death threats towards the PM? The person responsible for the picture should be investigated by the cops in my opinion. If someone did the self same thing to my picture I’d be making some serious noise.

Lame stream media will ignore the story, they are busying kicking our military members around these days. A shoe is a dangerous thing but a picture of the PM getting assassinated is not worthy of reporting.

  14. Bubba Brown says:

The Conservatives have not defined Mr ignatieff or the Liberal party. Mr ignatieff has done the damage to himself, for that to be pointed out is fair comment. He defined himself and published his point of view. As for “real scandal” one need look no further than adscam and the Liberals that are going to jail over the graft, plain brown envelopes etc.
As for that crudely photo-shopped picture of our P M pasted to an accused assassin who was shot well in police custody, I am old enough to remember that day and the murder of a President it’s not funny, anyone that thinks it is is an embarrassment to the people around them, grow up already! This is the real world, there are consequences.
The gotcha never ending scandal hunting of the Liberals is not working, the average Canadian is doing pretty well thank you. I shudder to think where we would be if the coalition was representing us in Copenhagen. If Mr Ignatieff wants to show some leadership qualities a good start would be to rein in the people responsible for this sickening display.

“Canada Leading Indicators Rise Almost Twice as Fast as Expected

Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) — Canada’s index of leading economic indicators rose almost twice as fast as economists predicted in November, led by gains in housing and manufacturing.

The index increased 1.3 percent, Statistics Canada said today in Ottawa, while economists surveyed by Bloomberg said the index would gain 0.7 percent, based on the median of 11 estimates.

Nine of the index’s 10 components rose and one was unchanged, marking the broadest increase in more than two years.

Canada’s economy grew at a 0.4 percent annualized pace last quarter after three earlier declines. Output will expand 2.6 percent next year after shrinking this year as monetary and fiscal stimulus revives demand, Royal Bank of Canada, the country’s biggest lender by assets, said yesterday.”

  17. Is anyone really shocked adult supervision is required? The Liberals in 2000 benefited from a weak NDP party, non existent Green vote and a split right of centre vote. The end of those Glory Days for the Liberals has been a very painful humilation. The divisive politics is just another reason why so many voting blocks have left the Liberal Party.

Visible minorities, Female vote (soccermoms), Catholics, traditional support has eroded from the LPOC and they are unable/unwilling to hold any adult conversation to engage them.

They prefer to host a Press Release and wave a Prop (Pink Book) and demand the voting block returns. Time Is Up for the party of props and empty promises.

Canadians want the Real Deal and our PM is hitting it out of the ball park as often as the Babe.

    Sux to be a Liberal.

  18. NeilD says:

    This is insane.
Our country is coming out of a recession and all the economists say we’re doing better than most industrialized nations.
We have a Prime Minister who by all accounts is down to earth, can speak intelligently on just about any subject, is popular and trusted by most Canadians, loves hockey and has a lovely family.
He’s also a pretty good politician on both a national and international level and is respected by other world leaders.

Yet the Liberals demonize him and then accuse him of being hateful and ruthless.

They accuse him of having a hidden agenda and being untrustworthy and of wanting to put armed troops on city streets.
They accuse him of character assassination when he uses their leaders own words against them.
They don’t question his politics so much as they try to bring him down through one trumped up phony scandal after another.
Chequegate, wafergate, Cadman, Olympic torch route, the Olympic logo, Afghan detainees, Schrieber and Mulroney…….the list goes on.
They lay claim to government policies that resonate with the people.
They don’t present alternative policies for Canadians to think about.
They say that he’s ‘playing to his base’ when he announces new policies.
They say that he’s vying for the immigrant vote when he attends a cultural celebration.
    They call him ‘calculating’.
They talk of “killing him dead” and post photos of him on their website that are beyond juvenile and border on unlawful.
They want to get back into power and will do anything they can to bring this government down.

And for some reason the media doesn’t seem to get this. Not only don’t they get it but they climb on board the Liberal train and yell “Full speed ahead!”.
Political commentators ask government spokespeople “Why don’t you just admit you were wrong?” and don’t even consider that the government might actually be right.

I’m going to be tuning in to the first minute of both politainment shows this afternoon and if I don’t hear anything about this assassination photograph within that time I’ll be switching over to Corner Gas for some real entertainment.

    Colour me disgusted too.

  19. Steve says:

Would that picture not constitute a threat to assassinate the Prime Minister of Canada, I think the RCMP should be callled in to investigate the Liberal Party and what Liberal is responsible for this obscene and extreme, and potentially criminal threat to the Prime Minister, his family and Canada.

  20. Liz J says:

Given the actions of the Econuts here and around the globe, I’d say our Prime Minister might want to think long and hard about going anywhere Copenhagen. Ordinary peoples’ lives could be at risk with those bozos out there, it’s like the march of the headless.

To think we have Canadian Premiers in Copenhagen dissing the Alberta oil sands project while taking equalization from that very source is beyond hypocritical. Appears they’d prefer to buy Saudi oil and contribute to the brutality in that part of the world.

With what’s going down in the name of global warming/save the planet how much closer can the left get to anarchy and treason?

How will sending millions of dollars to the Sudan cool the planet?

Please stay awy from the insanity of Copenhagen Mr Harper, it’s a lost cause.

I realize I am somewhat biased but most of these photos are not particularly smart or witty, on the whole pretty offensive, and quite frankly technically inept. If that was the best I could do with Photoshop, I’d either practice a bit harder or not bother. What they do show, however, is a fascinating insight into the thought processes of committed Liberals. Some are predictable – toilet humour, George Bush references, gays, etc., some are clearly wishful thinking, and some are real headscratchers.

“how will our Cdn. media react”

Well it was featured prominently on both Bourque and NNW folks, and seeing as this is today’s headlines the columns if the freelancers and journalists pick it up will likely show up tomorrow…not today.

I really don’t think we need to give the photo legs to understand the Liberal mindset on the one-hand. It should make anyone who reads the bits and sees the photo wonder if the Liberals would really endorse offing Harper to regain power.

On the other hand this could very well work to the PM’s advantage. Just add it to the other ammo. the war room has.

The difference re: the Puffin Poop ad was looking back on things the Puffin Pooping on Dion is actually what happened. The Waffle did crap on Dion.

Climbing the roof of the Parliament bldg, attacking the Italian PM, crashing the WH party, displaying a pic of an assassination of our PM, should worry us all. Who is behind all this. I think it is an orchestrated plan. Or, is it possible to have so many crazy people all coming up with the same idea at once.
We need an inquiry into who posted that photo on the lib website. Maybe we need an inquiry into the whole liberal party and their desire to kill our PM.
Will this show up in the next poll with libs falling to 20% again. Iggy better hold a press conference and say whoever is responsible will be outed and punished, and the manager of their website will be fired.

Ask Bennett what she would do with all that extra vaccine. How much did her antics cost us in ordering what was not needed. Liberals should pay the full cost.
And the budget better have the elimination of the 1.95 to force an election.

  33. frmgrl says:

This is totally disgusting. I agree with Steve should not the RCMP be called? If this was a Conservative doing stuff like this about a Liberal PM, the media would be screaming. They would have reaction from all corners on the broadcasts every 15 minutes calling for the police to do something.

  37. Liz J says:

We must call on Count Ignatieff to denounce the disgusting pictures posted by some of his loyal subjects. They are too far beyond all decency even for politics. 38. Joanne says:

“Journalists Freeze Waiting To Get Into Global Warming Conference

A group of journalists stood for many hours in near-freezing temperatures Monday waiting to get into the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen.

Marvelously among them was Associated Press science writer Seth Borenstein who regularly reports on the dire consequences of — wait for it! — global warming.

Ironically, his articles are so filled with inflammatory hyperbole concerning Nobel Laureate Al Gore’s favorite bogeyman that scientists have denounced him.

But before we get there, the Climate Pool reported at Facebook Monday (h/t Tom Nelson [2]):

With U.N. security letting in only those cleared last week, hundreds of accredited delegates, journalists and NGO representatives were left to stand for hours in near-freezing temperatures before being let through. “It was crazy,” AP’s Seth Borenstein said. “You couldn’t leave the line. You couldn’t go to the bathroom, you couldn’t eat. Then snowflakes started falling. One woman even said, ‘if lightning strikes me, would they take me out of line?’”

People started handing out food — one gave out tangerines, another croissants. A man screamed “I don’t need food. I need socks! I’m freezing my ass off out here.” At one point, a U.N. official announced the wait would be longer, prompting the crowd to boo and chant “Let Us In!” [...]

Seth himself stepped into the line at 7:55 a.m. and was through at 3:15 p.m., but only after another AP reporter, John Heilprin, “saved my bacon” by persuading a U.N. security guard to go out and fetch him. “John was afraid to go out himself in case they wouldn’t let him back in … the first thing I did when I saw him was give him a big hug. I have never been so grateful to be indoors.” Seth’s neighbors in line? “Oh they’re still out there.”

Honestly, you can’t make this stuff up.”

This is just another diversion…albeit a sick one and it did divert folks here for the day.

What SHOULD be news today is the farce and failure of Copenhagen and the direct slam to Gore’s “inconvenient truth”. There’s enough there to shut those climate change freaks down.

One would think given all the problems the Liberals are having they’d have something better to do with their time than have a picture contest. If Ignatieff doesn’t feel the need to apologize for this behaviour we can assume he really isn’t in charge of the party, the underlings are out of his control.

“Tories may be close to mood of populace on climate change

‘Environment Canada’ prank e-mail kept focus on Canada as a climate-change laggard, but country is recovering from recession and deficits’

“The record suggests the green brigade may have a lot more heavy lifting to do.

A Compas poll, carried out Nov. 28 and released last week, showed — remarkably — that among Canadians with an opinion on a Copenhagen treaty, 73 per cent favoured postponing a decision or not signing on at all.

Respondents’ reasons related to concern about economic recovery following the recession as well as lack of confidence in the science behind climate change. That confidence has been shaken of late by a controversy over manipulation of data at a British research institute. It’s noteworthy that Conservatives have not suffered any significant drop in poll numbers as a result of their cautious approach on climate change.

A survey by Angus Reid and the Toronto Star, released Monday, had the governing party at 36 per cent support — ahead of the Liberals with 29 per cent.

Climate activists also experienced a setback last week when the Calgary-based Canada West Foundation warned that a national unity crisis could result from letting the West bear the brunt of greenhouse-gas emission cuts.”

“It is entirely possible that, at this juncture, the Conservative government is closer to the mood of the populace than are the environmentalists.”

SHOCK, Evan had the photo up for about 5 sec. Goodale and Kinsella had their say.
Goodale spent most of his time on the rumors of poroughing the govt. With all the liberals talking about it, and the media, is it trying to get PMSH to do that. It would get the libs out of the headlines. He spewed lots of talking points re the committee, being scared. Maybe they are afraid he will call an election and they are getting their talking points out there.
    Ethics committee boycotted by conservatives.
That is the topic now on P&P.
Ujaal says conservatives are betting that most Canadians don’t care about some detainee, and he says that is wrong. Canadians care deeply re our image in the world.
Maybe libs are backing off as their internal polls tell them they are very wrong to demand an inquiry.
There are 7 conservatives on said committee and only six others turned up. Any other MP missing.

  65. Liz J says:

Ignatieff doesn’t understand leadership. We all know he wouldn’t have anything to do with the offensive material but as leader he is the person who must stand up for or disavow what goes on within his party.

Reminds me of when Froum, of the Journal, finally interviewed Preston Manning. At the end she said, there, we have finally done it and we will never have to hear of the Reform again. Then panel agreed with her.

Dewar was very angry outside the meeting.
Laurie mentioned it was all about a detainee being hit by a shoe, which in Islamic culture is considered an insult, not torture.
Funny how at the beginning of the show there were rumors of a shut down of the House, Laurie knows nothing about that, but at the end, Barton said the conservatives will shut down the House so all MPs can attend the Olympics.
Has Layton said anything re the photo.
And all the panelists are against the plan PMSH will present at Copenhagen.

Using a megaphone that pierced the rumble of hundreds of people gathered at the conference center housing Copenhagen’s climate conference, a man dressed as a polar bear went looking for controversial scientist Phil Jones — but he was nowhere to be found.

To a chorus of boos, a man dressed as a polar bear entered Copenhagen’s main conference center Tuesday and began paging the discredited climate scientist whose hacked e-mails sparked the Climate-Gate scandal.

Using a megaphone to pierce the rumble of hundreds gathered inside the Bella Center, which is hosting the city’s global climate summit, the polar bear boomed out:

“PHIL JONES??? HAS ANYONE SEEN PHIL JONES???”

Jones, who stepped down from his leading academic post amid swirling scandal earlier this month, has reportedly skipped the climate conference entirely. But his shadow and his words could affect its outcome.

Lie about them. [men with guns, in our streets, in Canadian cities...]

Then, then you can victimize them. Brutalize them. Decimate them.

The world has long witnessed the effects of the Hit Squads of the ‘killler’ left of Beria, Kaganovich and their ilk. Elimination. Assassination. Liquidation.

So — the frightening menace, from the proponents of ‘gun control,’ seems to be nothing more than a simple case of ‘put a bullet in his head,’ ‘bust a cap on his sorry ass.’ Brought to you by the people seemingly so concerned about the possibility of ‘torture’ of detained combatants suspected of having Taliban affiliations. Brought to you by the people *SO* in favour of Gun Control and Gun Registries. [or is this doctrine strictly so that they can disarm everyone, except their friends and supporters, whenever they so desire?]

The left’s mindless, vicious, destructive, irrational and blindingly blind visceral hatred for anyone other than followers of their doctrinaire posturing, can only naturally descend to this current sorry state; can only, naturally, arrive at a point where they would find sport and humour in portraying a deranged gunman’s assassination of a democratically-elected, western political leader.

Only the unbalanced librano mind-set can produce this sick, twisted, new, and chilling spin with this 2009 rendition:

OUR men, with guns, on everyone’s screens. We’re not fooling. We’re not making this up. We’re not allowed to.

Another classic case of: the sphincter hatband on their hat is just a little too tight, reducing the circulation of a much-need, life-supporting, supply of fresh blood to their physically atrophied and morally bankrupt brain.

Under the law, if I’m correct, the “intent” determines if any law is broken. In my opinion, the intent of the photo is clear cut – assassination.

At the very least, charges should be laid and the “intent” determined. This is a very serious situation that must not be ignored.

As for the Liberals, they absolutely disgust me!! If Canadians fail to see the Liberals as nothing more than scum, then we live among morons.

They are failing and failing miserably.” EXACTLY MY POINT….yet we against give The Waffle the spotlight and wait with baited breath for an apology that makes not one bit of difference to this country at this moment. None whatsoever. It’s as irrelevant as the LPOC is these days….NOT!

Joanne – “…the thing is that this blog iw not a CPC mouthpiece. This is a blog for conservative supports who want to voice their thoughts and frustrations.” Thanks for clearing that up, but you’re giving forum to all those “mouthpieces” for the Liberals? I get that being a vehicle for conservative frustrations is useful, but we WON the election and whatever those who try to divert our attention to other scandals and idiot photographs will not change that. Do we conservatives even know how to be winners? Maybe we need to better define what it means to be “a mouthpiece” and a “supporter” because I see them as being one and the same..or could overlap.

Albert Girl – you raise great points “But, Richo…it is the PPG that get all the air time…”
Yes, and even so the polls lately are telling a very different story, right? Media bias has been around for ever but presently some have the same problem as do the LPOC – they’re not relating to individual Canadians at all. Proof of that is how they’re hanging on the Afghan “hit me in the head with a shoe” issue. It’s news because Copenhagen is falling flat not because it’s going to make a hill of beans difference to the average Canadian. It’s not going to be a campaign issue
either I’m betting. My point was that local media is reachable and each one of us has the capacity to change the bias in their own way, in their own hometowns. It all starts there. I can tell you that conservative journalists feel their own fair share of bias outside their control but they press on – Mike Duffy stands as one example of that.

Airing frustrations is fine and necessary especially doing so in the company of others who get it, but by lumping ALL journalists into the same criticism you’re doing them a huge disservice at every level.

I guess I just tend to gravitate to the positive and leave the rest behind because it’s unhealthy for me personally and the negative is easy to dwell on otherwise those dailies and shows like Power Play wouldn’t hang on them as they do. Look how many here still tune in to Power Play. Why? It doesn’t deserve the attention and patronage.

Ok, my new puppy’s eating my Christmas tree – the efforts of journalists to buck the bias exist. It’s often hard to see through the other pap but it’s there.

  113. Joanne says:

Richco, I would say that in this particular case the Liberals were not very happy to have the focus shifted to this glaring error in judgment. They would have been much happier to have the media continue to spew out columns on Afghan detainees.

  114. Richo,

Our Canadian Newsprint bias is valuable.

For potty training for your puppy.

You can always find something positive from a negative.

The Canadian News TV personalities are leftovers past their due date. The Global Trend for TV/Film talent is to follow the money and markets to the US. These TV personalities only look Big in our small pond.

  115. Liz J says:

Richo, I fully support highlighting Liberal stupidity, if we don’t do it who will? There’s nothing they’d like more than having their inane behaviour ignored, the media may report some of it but it never gives it “legs”.

  116. Richco says:

Joanne – The Afghan detainee thing is falling off the radar very quickly. With ordinary Canadians it never made it ON the radar, but I understand what you’re saying.

Canadiansense – “Our Canadian Newsprint bias is valuable” – from the PM and CPC perspective that’s true also. Who doesn’t like it when the MSM gives kudos to Harper.

“Canadian News TV personalities are leftovers past their due date” – no argument from me there but the new crop is being churned out of much more “liberal” post-secondaries that will leave you craving the old boys. (Gag me).

“These TV personalities only look BIG in our small pond.” Yep. I agree there also that’s why I guess I don’t see them as having much influence on Canadians…especially at vote time.

  117. Richco says:

Liz “if we don’t who will” – well, considering that the CPC so-called “truth” ads worked so well, I’d say that the LPOC and The Waffle all by themselves have done a great job.

Sure, I see value in blogs hammering this home because on blogs it’s almost like water-torture and can stay alive for a long time. I also see plenty of value for the PM if Iggy resists an apology.

Has Harper commented on this issue yet? Maybe he should?

  118. Liz J says:

Richo, there’s only value for the PM if iggy resists an apology AND we keep hammering them with it, if we don’t, it will die.

The fact that “contest entry” by a “kid” got past scrutiny by the brains of the outfit is another story, it’s telling it the adults must have thought it funny as well.
The problem with stuff like this, some less than stable person may think it might be a good idea to try to assassinate the PM, in that way it needs to be taken very seriously.

Lets hope the PM prorogues, stop the Taliban Committee and the Liberal senators plying silly beggars one last time to interfere with legislation passed by the elected HOC.

  119. Liz J,

I don’t buy the story, I have cached the contest had seven entries as finalists. One was removed the finalists list. They have not corrected “seven” entries on all their pages.

So it was allowed and judged by someone in the LPOC. The LPOC has no problem demanding secret documents but won’t come clean on who is responsible and how this happened.

When the CPC made an tastless stunt AD it was dealt with an apology from the leader of the party.

The leader of the Liberals does not accept responsibility for his party. (Reminds me of Adscam) Apologist blame ‘low level’ people, it was NOT them.

The same problem of accountability still exists.

Porogue may be a problem, let the committee call meeting if the CPC are busy so be it. Too bad the rules allow them to miss meetings.

They can continue to speak to the media about the meanie CPC who won’t show up to discuss the detainee issue. So what. Let them and the liberal media cry about this issue for the next few weeks during Christmas.

  120. ed says:

The best defense is a good offense. I believe we ought to confront the false news wherever it comes from. We need to highlight it, bring it out in the open so people are aware of it rather than to simply ignore it.

There are too many gullible Canadians out there who tune in to Global National, CTV and CBC. We have some excellent stations and reporters across Canada but, unfortunately, they do not have a national audience.

The biggest threat to democracy is an uninformed population. Sadly, there are many, many uninformed Canadians. Thanks to the internet, and blogs like this, we will become an increasingly informed people.

For one thing, I believe it’s important to listen, read and watch biased media in order to confront them and point out to the general public the error of their ways. We ignore them at our own peril. To look the other way is a recipe for disaster.

  121. Richco says:

Please add The Hill Times to your list of must-reads on this issue. It raises similar questions.

  122. Richco says:

ooops – make that MacLeod at Hill Times via NNW.

  123. Joanne says:

make that MacLeod at Hill Times via NNW.

Yeah, I read that too. The link up at next post.

Actually now that I reread that column I can’t believe what MacLeod is suggesting. i.e that it was a very clever pic and that it was preplanned. Well if that’s true then the Liberals are lower than scum.

  124. BC Mary says:

Another illustration of why partisan politics is bad for our health, bad for the country.

If nothing else, Copenhagen proved why bickering over “Me good, You bad” solves nothing.

We’ll have to learn how to work together. Can we do it? I think so. But it’s going to require self-discipline.
