Lorrie Goldstein nails it again today – Canada is no climate villain (H/T NNW)
First he excoriates the likes of George Monbiot and his sycophantic MSM followers. I suspect that the one he is particularly singling out as an environmental groupie is Heather Mallick whose recent column was largely devoid of facts and rational thought, and full of shame for our country and disdain for Canadian voters (i.e. you). Her hatred for our Prime Minister is palpable:
…What takes place when a nation can’t decide on a government and lets a rightwing minority, quivering with hate, have just enough power?
Catastrophe, that’s what.
Countries supposedly get the government they deserve. I’m not sure Canada deserved Harper….
( . . . )
...We love the Kyoto protocol, we want to prostrate ourselves in Copenhagen next month, but until we make our mind up about whether to make Michael Ignatieff prime minister, we can’t….
Heather says you goofed, Canada! And you make her feel ashamed of our country.
Anyway Lorrie Goldstein lets them both have it:
I’m not sure which is worse.
Is it painfully self-righteous journalists-cum-environmental-radicals like the U.K.’s George “Moonbat” Monbiot, falsely accusing Canada of being a “corrupt petro-state” as the Copenhagen climate follies drag on?
Or is it the cheering from their sycophantic, know-nothing journalistic admirers in Canada, one of whom recently wrote a piece of such spectacularly uninformed drivel that appeared across the pond in the wake of the Moonbat’s ravings, that it practically screamed: “Oh, flay me, George, flay me, you great big, greenhouse-gas emitting hunk of Canada-bashing flatulence, you”?
It was yet another monumentally ignorant expression of environmental self-loathing, typical of Canada’s chattering classes…
Lorrie then goes on to insert a few ‘facts’ – something that members of the Mallick crowd seem to loathe as much as they do the tar sands:
...Never mind facts. Never mind reality. Never mind that in last year’s exhaustive environmental survey by The Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and The Center for International Earth Science Information Network at Columbia University, Canada finished with the world’s 12th best environmental record out of 192 countries — including almost 50 that don’t even compile enough credible data to be assessed.
Judged on 25 environmental factors, including climate change, Canada achieved an aggregate score of 86.6 out of 100 on the study’s Environmental Performance Index, ahead of Germany (land of the useless wind turbines) in 13th place, the Moonbat’s U.K. in 14th, and, oh, look, 14 places ahead of Denmark, whose capital is Copenhagen, site of the latest UN carbon dioxide-spewing festival of indignation on the dangers of spewing carbon dioxide.
The U.S., home of Nobel Peace Prize winners and warmists extraordinaire Al Gore and Barack Obama, finished in 39th place, although no doubt Canada’s self-loathing chattering classes, now aware there is such a study, will blame it all on George Bush…
Goldstein realistically reminds us that while we do indeed have serious environmental challenges in Canada, the outrage about carbon emissions in Alberta is overblown:
…The oil sands are currently responsible for less than one-tenth of one per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions. Canada is responsible for 2%.
Until China and the U.S. — the world’s number one and two greenhouse gas emitters, responsible for 40% of global emissions — wean themselves off coal as their major electricity source, Canada could turn out the lights tomorrow — shut down everything — and it wouldn’t make any difference to the planet…
But the chattering classes were never concerned about facts.
It’s about selling media and helping their left-wing friends – especially their Moonbat heroes.

But her faith in Greenpeace holds strong.

What would the Leftist Moonbat media hacks have the government do, shut down Alberta for less than one-tenth of one percent emissions? What then?
It’s really disgusting they have a platform to misinform people. They offer no alternatives that could be even close to keeping the country viable as a trading nation, in fact they’re heeding the dream of supreme socialists like Mo Strong, shut down industrialized nations, put us back to the stone age.
in fact they’re heeding the dream of supreme socialists like Mo Strong, shut down industrialized nations, put us back to the stone age.
Liz, I think you’ve nailed it there.
Here is what I suspect – The moonbats are hoping to embarrass Canada into submitting to the pressures and then they can go after the big fish: The U.S.
With Canada onside, the States would have a much more difficult time refusing to ratify whatever the UN wanted.

Why is China always called a developing nation. If it is still developing, where does it get all the money to finance the treasury of the USA.
Why isn’t Canada considered a developing nation as we continue to develop better ways to produce whatever, and energy, and green jobs.
When does a developing nation become a developed nation.
And why, with less than 300 years of history, is Canada developed and China, India, and the middle east, with 1000s of years of history, still not developed.
If they can’t do it in 1000 years they will never do it, so quit spending money on them.
I think it’s a matter of “what kind” of development we’re talking about. With China, they’re newbies when it comes to human rights… lots of development needed there. They don’t need any when it comes to population growth. In terms of a burgeoning economy and technological advancement, then yes, I suppose they are “developing”. Every country is in some sense “developing”, as Canada is continually discovering and harnessing its own resources and changing to meet global marketplace demands. We were already “developed” by our aboriginal populace when we were “discovered” by so-called civilization and ushered into a new era of commercial and cultural development which is the modern guage by which the world views and rates “development”. Ancient lands where nations have been oppressed by countless generations of tyranny and religious fanatacism are extremely slow in any adherence to progressive influences from the outside, and are therefore very gradual in this sense of development. Geopolitical boundaries are eventually bent as the world grows smaller and money speaks louder.
Just watched an interview on cbc with a stupid young thing that is typical of these GW lunatics. She had just completed the polarbear swim in Toronto, and cbc host Diane Buckner asks’why did you do this?’
Moron responds: I did it for society!’ HUH????????
Buckner: what do you mean?
Moron:The polar bears are losing their ice and they need a place to live!
Buckner at least had the good sense to seem somewhat embarassed by this answer, and tells the idiot to go have some hot chocolate.
How in H.does a polar bear swim help ‘society?’ I am sick to death of this lunacy..and sitting here in -30 ‘sunny’ Manitoba,I am praying for some global warming .
Judging by the comments in the Red Star and G&M on Ablerta’s and Saskatchewan’s oil sands development vs AGW, I’d say that there are a lot of people in central Canada that wish to shut Alberta down, at least, to appease the climate change gods. Pretty vituperative comments, too. I’m sure that I’m not the only one to notice. Makes this Albertan feel real warm and cozy, being a Canadian. Especially after we paid our portion of the $12 Billion into GM and the CAW union pension bailout. You’re very welcome!
Let’s seee, what will be my next truck purchase? Hmmmmm. My last one, an F150 says on a sticker “made in Deerborn Michigan”. They didn’t need any taxpayer money, too. Hmmmmm. That’s a tough one and expensive too at $41,000. Toyota looks good, though. Hmmmmm. They ain’t cheap either. Interest rates should be going up soon, too. Hmmmm.
You know, I might just retire instead. Forget about working and paying taxes any more. Less stressful. One less federal goverment employee to look after my company’s taxes and GST. They can get laid off and save me some money, too. House is paid for. Don’t need a vehicle in this city and if Mayor Bronconnier is voted out for being the biggest spender in the history of Calgary, we might keep taxes to a minimum here. Natural gas is cheap, so heating shouldn’t be a problem. I can buy my groceries locally, don’t need Saputo or Loblaws/Superstore.
Premier Stelmach and the so-called CINO’s will be ousted in the next couple of years, so we’ll get a more business friendly and civil servant un-friendly government running this place. Better money managers, too. I like that name: Wilddrose, pretty pink wild flower, too. Grows everywhere along the roadside.
Sammy – More global warming brainiacs here.
I am now a climate change believer – George W Bush is controlling the Sun and we need to put a stop to that. He has a secret weapon that turns the sun spots on and off depending on the price of oil. He did it during the Medieval Warming Period when the USA lost to Canada in hockey (we had a special stick).
No more Copenhagens – too much hot air
QP today should be a real Harper Hate-Fest! Guests reporters will be Tom Clark and King Harper hater Travers.Moonbat in chief Dizzie Lizzie May will be on from copenhagen..and the obligatory ‘detaineegate’ story!
Hey Jo..I’d love to see those naked protestors on Portage and Main in Winnipeg..if they stood out there in -30 weather,it might mean something! Instead they picked BC..no guts,no glory!!!
If these marchers were so sure of their cause, why did they wear sandwich boards. How many trees died for those boards to be made.
I wish AB would go on strike for a month, with no money going east. And no oil, energy ect leaving the Province for a month. We would not hurt our citizens, just turn the taps off, and fire all those from the east that are earning money here. They don’t spend it here but send it home. Let those families starve for a while.
The problem with this is that very few, if any, of those idiots would be affected.
I have my own way of protesting, will not buy any mag or paper with a head office in Que or Ont.
I think a lot of us has done that, notice the size of Readers Digest lately. Old issues are still in medical offices, and I recently found an old issue from the early 90s. Whenever called re a subscription, or charity I say, sorry, will not send tainted money earned in AB to any org outside of my Prov.
Ooooh,Laurie Hawn givin it to Taber..he is pi**ed off! He just said,’get real here folks!’I think some of the opposition, and the msm are starting to realize that majority of Canadians are NOT interested or really care about this detainee story.
BTW Taber looks like she’s wearing a Christmas tree today! Absolutely hideous outfit!
Sammy, I saw that too! Laurie was great!!!
Take a look at G&M homepage today..top stories are all Copenhagen, and Glo-bull Warming… the next bunch of headlines are the Tiger Woods fiasco..then this headline:Dangerously cold weather hits Prairies!
It’s weather people..it’s the norm..we deal with this every winter!
Any of you watching Mark Sutcliffe on cpac? I’m kind of channel flipping, and he had Gar Pardy on,and now the callers responding to the detainee story..some old gal just gave it to him about ‘our’ soldiers, and the nonsense of this story. She was just livid! Mark didn’t seem too happy!
All those oil workers from NFLD and other Atlantic prov should be careful going home for Christmas. Last year a lot of them got layoff notices, when they were home. Saved our welfare costs, and increased the EI numbers elsewhere, as they filed claims in their home province. And free trips back and forth were cancelled.

Gar Pardy is the new media star. We simply MUST believe what one man says, namely Colvin. We cannot insult the poor fellow by asking others for their input or asking for real proof of what he tells us. We simply must believe him.
I’ve never seen such a bunch of knobs scuttling about in the media trying to sink the Harper Conservatives and smear our troops and our country in the process.

“UK company bribed Chinese official
A BRITISH environmental consulting company which lists “integrity” among its corporate values bribed a Chinese official with £15,000 to win contracts, according to official reports of a court case in Shanghai. Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is said to have paid off an influential bureaucrat in the city’s environmental protection office who is now on trial.
It is believed to be the first time a British company has been named in a high-profile Chinese bribery case. ERM, which has worked on the 2012 London Olympics and counts Marks & Spencer and BP among its clients, operates in 39 countries and has an annual worldwide turnover of more than £400m. It says on its website that it expects “the highest level of ethical behaviour and personal integrity in all our transactions”.
The company, which describes itself as the world leader in its field, has shown Marks & Spencer how to reduce the carbon footprint of its clothes, advised the organisers of London’s Olympic bid on environmental strategy for a sustainable Games, and examined BP’s plans for a liquefied natural gas field in Indonesia to assure international lenders that it complied with global standards.
ERM also helped the giant Chinese energy company Sinopec to prepare a presentation to the United Nations to demonstrate its commitment to human rights and the environment, and its opposition to corruption.”

The convoluted logic of the climate protesters leaves me speechless – almost. So, if the planet is warming, we won’t need so much energy expended in heating our buildings and we’ll have longer growing seasons. Thus – less fuel used and more abundance of food. Less fuel used means lower emissions which means lower pollution levels. Ergo – perhaps warming is good for the planet. I’m being faecetious, of course.
As for global warming/cooling – does science not theorize that the Earth has been warming and cooling in cycles for millions of years? Do these Chicken Littles not realize that there is not a solitary thing we humans can do to stop the cycles?
As for my own solution to our planetary problem: less people. If a country cannot support its population then we should not artificially support that naturally unsupportable population. We consumers should stop buying unecessary products like bottles water. We should stop using disposable diapers (yes, I once changed and washed diapers – it’s not that bad). We should stop driving monster vehicles if we don’t need them – why does Jill Soccermom need a huge honkin’ SUV, anyway. Why does a DINK couple need two SUVs. Why do people drive Hummers?
Anyway – that’s just my weekend blast. I’m ticked with Flaherty for giving support to McGuinty’s latest cash grab. I am stunned that our own Finance Minister would support the second-worst premier we’ve had (second only to Rae) in his quest to fleece us Ontarians even more.
BTW – it’s snowing outside – I do believe that it has to be cold in order to snow – ergo: my own little corner of the world sure has not warmed.
Message to PM Harper: Meet the Daniel “bozo”.
Then, there were two Canadian Daniels here* from 2003.
A toast to McIntyre and McItrick: Lang may yer lum reek.

“Centre of the storm
Colby Cosh profiles the gentle Canadian who has changed the climate science world
The private emails and logs leaked last month from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia can’t tell us whether industrial activity is really heating the earth’s atmosphere and endangering civilization.
But they have settled the identity of the Great Satan of climate science. Torontonian Stephen McIntyre, a gentle, persistent amateur who had no credentials in applied science before stepping into the global warming debate in 2003, is mentioned more than 100 times.
In the emails, leading climate researchers dismiss him as a capitalist hireling or a hapless “bozo,” and argue about the relative merits of ignoring him versus counterattacking him, even as others acknowledge that his criticisms have merit and imitate his use of the Web as a venue for hyper-detailed scientific discussion. At one point in 2005, CRU director Phil Jones, now under suspension, ponders the possibility that McIntyre might use U.K. freedom-of-information laws to obtain raw weather-station data compiled by the CRU. He grumbles: “I think I’ll delete the file rather than send to anyone.” The overall impression is that of 100 elephants stampeding in confusion and panic around a mouse.
The political stakes are now so high when it comes to the “Climategate” scandal, and motives are being questioned so loudly on both sides, that few are noticing the remarkable story at the heart of it all: a 62-year-old mining executive and squash enthusiast has, for better or worse, found his way into the centre of a major scientific melée—almost by accident—and been able to make legitimate contributions.”

“*The IPCC, the “Hockey Stick” Curve, and the Illusion of Experience
by Stephen McIntyre and Dr. Ross McKitrick
November 18, 2003
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) Third Assessment Report concluded that “it is likely that the rate and duration of the warming of the 20th century is larger than any other time during the last 1,000 years. The 1990s are likely to have been the warmest decade of the millennium in the Northern Hemisphere, and 1998 is likely to have been the warmest year.”
The primary basis for this assertion was a climate reconstruction that produced the so-called ‘hockey stick’ shaped graph, which shows that the 20th century was unusually warm compared to preceding centuries. A new evaluation of the underlying data used to create that graph by Canadian businessman Stephen McIntyre and economist Ross McKitrick raises serious questions as to its validity.
McIntyre and McKitrick examined the construction and use of the data set of proxies for past climate, which were used to estimate the temperature record from 1400 to 1980.
Their review found four categories of error: collation errors, unjustified truncation and extrapolation, use of obsolete data, and calculation mistakes.
Correcting for these errors, they found that temperature for the early 15th century was actually higher than the 20th century.
The McIntyre-McKitrick findings challenge one of the most influential aspects of the climate change debate. The ‘hockey stick’ graph has been accepted as fact by the international community and many domestic interests pushing the Kyoto Protocol and McCain-Lieberman.
See the original paper by Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick, “Corrections to the Mann et al (1998) Proxy Data Base and Northern Hemisphere Average Temperature Series” Energy and Environment 14(6) 751-772.”

cbc just had on some loonie flower child from Copenhagen (a Canadian)..they showed a speech she was giving about being ashamed of being Canadian..and she was bawling her eyes out, sobbing! Ezra has it bang on with this: “The mainstream media’s general antipathy to anything military set the table for this fight: the Parliamentary Press Gallery’s general opposition to Harper makes them eager to side with any antagonist be they Taliban or indiscreet diplomat: and their own self interest as journalists is just the icing on the cake”. That’s it in a nutshell.
The saddest part of the loony fringe on this climate change/global warming scam is the children who are being brainwashed and dragged around the streets not really knowing exactly what it’s all about. They will remember this, it will affect them, they risk being radicalized on the subject and not believe the truth when it is finally proven. We are living in scary times on many fronts. I would include in that the banana republic tactics of the MSM.
Agree with you Liz Ezra’s right on the money with his take. He’s also someone who challenges the media and gives out as good as he gets. He’s turned his frustration into action, AND he’s considering the source and nuances of the PPG – again hitting it out of the park.
There have been a number of articles about Stephen MacIntyre recently, this one in Macleans no less. And he’s a Canadian.
Where does that most despicable Heather Malice dame hang out? If she’s living in Canada, a free and democratic country, she can haul her sorry ass right out to somewhere she’d be more at home, some Socialist paradise, no point in her being unhappy; the Harper government is going to be around for a long time.
It’s going to take some time to clean up the Chretien-Martin mess. Add to that the sorry mess they left the Military, starting with Trudeau, whose handy work we are dealing with to this day in the form of a flawed Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a money maker for the legals, giving power to unelected Supreme Court. It’s an attraction for some of the less than desirable immigrants who get one foot on our soil and, presto, have all the rights we do, they know it,it’s a real magnet.
What the media is NOT telling Canadians
Shoe-Gate
on the ground version here:
”…On June 14, 2006, a Canadian Military Police officer who was working with the Afghan National Police was on the scene when the ANP stopped a van leaving a battle.
The ANP said one of the three men inside was definitely a Taliban.
The MP photographed the man and wrote his name down, but agreed to let him travel with the ANP back to Patrol Base Wilson.
It was a 15-minute trip.
Back at the base, the MP dutifully checked on the fellow and found the ANP beating him with their shoes. (voila, Shoe-Gate)
The MP then took the man back and made him an official detainee.
The event was reported, but was considered by everyone to be a minor, low-level battlefield incident…”

That is just a jaw-dropping clip.
Kinsella offering up “secret” documents is pretty damning for the Liberals after MH Findlay said on PP all MP’s could be trusted with secret documents. He’s proving the Conservative government is doing the right thing when we have troops in the field, fighting a war.
Wouldn’t it be great if we had an investigative journalist who would follow mallice and the crybaby from cbc today and document every time they took advantage of being Canadian. Like gst rebates, cultural events, voting, jobs, free speech and so many more and then expose their hyprocricy.
Maybe we need a law that any Canadian citizen who disses our country on the world stage is subject to deportation to some far off african country.
Where did he get those documents, we need an inquiry to find out who is following Ujaal’s request for documents to be released.

BTW, if these documents are indeed of any importance to the security of our troops and country, wouldn’t the media be wise to talk to government officials before broadcasting them? If smarty pants Kinsella is passing that stuff around, isn’t he leaving himself open to trouble? I’d bet it’s not much of any importance, either that or the Liberals have really lost it.
The coalition must call for an immediate election in order to save Canada and the Planet. After all our present government is “lawless” according to Dosaangh. Afghan farmers are being tortured as we speak.

Funny, no one mentioned an option the PM has, call an election.
Is the media so upset at knowing there will be no Senate appointments in the near or far future. All that a** kissing for nothing.
Could someone please translate what lizzie was spouting on QP. We know she was part of that protest march.
At least she didn’t blame the increase in aids in Africa on global warming. And to think she is running to be an MP in BC.
And further to her speech, why does she mention Soros, is he financing all these protesters costs.

O/T, but this may interest some of you. Today on the Radio-Canada program Les Coulisses du pouvoir journalists Chantale Hébert, Emmanuelle Latraverse, Michel C. Auger, and Jean Dussault gave out “report cards” assessing the leaders’ performance for 2009. Dussault deals with Quebec politics, so no grade given for federal politicians, and Latraverse covers federal politics. These were the results:
Prime Minister Harper
Hébert: B+
Latraverse: B
Auger: B
Michael Ignatieff
Hébert: Between D and F. She said Ignatieff came in like a lion but went out like a lamb, but literally in French she said “lion” & “mouton” which translates into lion and sheep.
Latraverse: D+ to D
Auger: D+

Latraverse: A
Auger: A-
Duceppe
Hébert: C+
Latraverse: B-

The ministerial round that began on Saturday only added to the fear that industrialised countries were not ready to budge from their stands and the negotiations were headed towards a collapse.
The Indian and the Chinese governments made it clear that their leaders, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Premier Wen Jiabao, were not going to come in at the end of the talks to crack the fine details, they would agree only if the industrialised world was ready for a deal by December 16.

Christmas celebrations can lift. But on Sunday, the chilling news that climate change talks could break down completely spread far deeper dismay in the Danish capital.
Negotiators and ministers from 192 countries took the day off from formal talks to discuss the looming possibility that they could fail the world in its search for an equitable and scientifically adequate agreement to prevent disastrous climate change. The chances of a stalemate loomed large as governments went into informal huddles over the weekend.”

Why didn’t lizzie mention that China and India are also not agreeing to this crap. Why is it only Canada being slagged.
This to will backfire one them.
C’mon folks, Copenhagen can’t possibly fail, Lizzy May is there to save us all fromthe terrible doom of Global Warming caused by all of us who enjoy all the modern technology and things like washing machines, running water, indoor plumbing etc.
“Gar Pardy is the new media star. ” (Liz J)
Henry Garfield Pardy was the former head of the Canadian Consular Service until 2003. Since then, and in particular since 2006, he has made a career writing pieces attacking the government’s management of foreign affairs generally and Foreign Affairs department in particular.

And this one with a guy named Amir Attaran

Somehow this does not seem quite as “spontaneous” as the media are trying to make out.
Lots more links on Google, but this is a start.
Rumours flew fast and thick that if the US could not secure a weak “pledge and review’’ kind of agreement that it had been supporting for months, President Barack Obama may give the meet a miss.”
I love it!
Lorrie goldstein – Once again nails it.People tend to brush off the Sun as a tabloid paper.Dont they realize thats where youll probably get the real truth ?LOL!No China or India= no deal.Let the nay sayers slag Canada all they want.Canadians want real proof, not some indoctrinated nobody screaming “the sky is falling!”
not some indoctrinated nobody screaming “the sky is falling!”
And we’ve been seeing plenty of that in Copenhagen.
Still no media outrage re the cdn diplomat who spit in the face of a policeman and journalist. Wonder why, must be a liberal appointee.
Re all those ex dips who signed that letter. Did they peer review it or just sign. Not much support for the taxpayers who funded their high living ways when they were employed.
I wonder what we would find if we peer reviewed all those signers. Bet there is some bad stuff there somewhere.
Gar reminds me of all those sex partners of Tiger’s, looking for 15 minutes of fame.
What will he do or say when he is exposed as a Harper hater and seeking revenge for something.
We must support Peter McKay and our PM, in not resigning or calling an inquiry or signing anything in Denmark.
For once I believe the saying, something rotten in Denmark.
Was it mentioned that this new media hero was called back four times to testify during the Arar inquiry. Testimony starts on page 12351 for his fourth appearance. He sure knows how to double speak.
And was it mentioned he was ambassador to Nicarauga. I am sure that posting resulted in him making very serious decisions re the safety and security of Canada-sarc off-
From what I read he was given a sort of bad time, is that the reason for his actions.
Somewhere in that testimony a questioner says, the only thing missing is your memory, or words to that effect.
Great post by Howard Galganov:

“To put the final nail into ensuring the sanctity of the unassailable “truth”, any person who has the audacity to challenge the DOGMA must be demeaned and diminished before his or her peers and exposed to be an enemy of mankind.”
“On March 23, 1989 (20 years ago), two scientists by the names of Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons claimed to have created COLD FUSION in a Test Tube.”
“Had COLD FUSION been achievable, it would have meant that mankind would have an entirely safe, never-ending, non-polluting, cheap source of energy.”
“This was GREAT, until enough scientists who would not follow like scatterbrained sheep, proved the whole endeavor to be nothing more and nothing less than a fraud.”
“Nothing in the world of science, so it appears is cast in steel with the exception of Global Warming/Climate Change, even when all the real evidence irrefutably shows that the earth is indeed cooling rather than warming.”
“The difference between challenging the dogma of Islamists who murder in the name of their infallible belief, and the dogma of the Climate Fanatics, is that so far, the Climate Fanatics haven’t yet ascribed to the tactics of Jihad.
But that doesn’t mean the Climate Fanatics don’t use every facet of demagoguery and intimidation to silence legitimate debate through ACADEMIC TERRORISM. They do.”
“Al Gore won an Academy Award for his VERY CONVENIENT LIE.
He also won the Nobel Peace Prize from European LEFTISTS who want to use this junk science to take down American Free Enterprise, just like these same LEFTIST numbskulls gave the Peace Prize to Barack Hussein Obama because he MIGHT do something great in his future.”
“Our immediate concern though, is to limit the damage that is being done and will be done by the LEFTISTS between now and then.

Great column by Galganov, Ed! He’s pretty much nailed it.
Yes Mary,it’s time to invoke the phrase we activated when Gagliano was sent to Denmark as Ambassador:”There’s something rotten in Denmark”. If Obama doesn’t go why would our PM bother to go when it’s winding down as a farce?
Like the great golfer who has lost his stride and went off course, the media has no shortage of whores.
