lol
Not sure what you guys are up in arms about, Alberta has a harmonized sales tax (5%) and no one here is complaining! Just kidding…. They will get you one way or another, if it wasn’t the HST, it would have been a carbon tax or a breathing users fee.
I have never been so proud of some one I voted for before the moment I watched this video!
Hey, that’s my MPP John Yakabuski and he’s a really great representative for all the common senses folks in the Upper Ottawa Valley.
On another note, the guy who’s still sore because the Harper’s didn’t invite him to a party, Greg Weston, in Ottawa Sun today say’s “McKay’s time’s up”, another Liberal hack spewing the same jargon that took Ignatieff to the basement in the polls. I say the PM should not fire McKay but he should take make the opposition stand and vote him out on this issue.
Another item of interest is in the NP, “Gore Tackles Inconvenient Emails”, saying they were being taken out of context! He opined “These are private emails, more than 10 years old, and they’ve tried to blow it up into something that it’s really not” sayeth the Reverend Al…
He’s the only thing that’s blown up.
Did anyone read Liberal writer Lawrence Martin’s column in the G&M yesterday: “The year Harper proved his critics wrong (including me)”?
He says “Regrettably, Mr Harper’s success is based much more on politics- his brutally partisan wielding of executive power- than on inspired policy”.
And this gem: ‘The key is his Vlad the Impaler toughness, He’s got more venom than your average cobra”.
Appears this chap hasn’t much memory of his friend Chretien’s rule…..
Awesome. I’m going to link this on my e-Christmas greetings!
@0:35 — Ontario is in the red because the Tories screwed up in the ’90s. They hid their deficits by accounting schemes and reamed Ontarians in the process. But I suppose we shouldn’t let facts get in the way of a nice little ditty.
