BTW, it will be interesting to watch how they spin Janine Krieber’s Facebook entry which was circulated among party members and made public. If Canada had a legitimate small-c fiscal conservative PM he would stand up fervently and passionately as opponents of any kind of cap-and-trade system. The cap-and-trade system that Harper and is leftwing environmental minister Prentice keep referring to is a stealth strategy for an enormous disingenuous, long-term tax increase on all Canadian households. It will evolve around an economic Ponzi scheme that includes an enormous new source of tax revenue for the government, demolishment of thousands of high paying manufacturing jobs, and a devastating transfer of wealth.
This wealth transferring vehicle would immediately increase the costs of goods and services such as gasoline, electricity and a wide range of industrial products. The rise in the price of Canadian goods would make them less competitive. Canadian firms would suffer in export markets and domestically in competition with goods imported from countries that do not impose such a high implicit tax on CO2 emissions. There would no doubt be pressure to impose tariffs on imports from other countries that have lower carbon costs. Countervailing tariffs base on carbon content would hurt Canadian consumers, destroy thousands of jobs, and threaten our global trading system.
Any candid, forthright genuine small-c fiscal politician would verify that the “Cap & Tax” tax system is nothing less that the extreme left’s new, socialistic approach to redistribute wealth from wealth producers to others. An ingenuous small-c fiscal politician, contrasting our CINO PM, would divulge that the “Cap & Tax” system is just another version of Trudeau’s National Energy Program which also was created to transfer wealth from the west.
A candid social and judicial authentic small-c politician would have advised us that the climate hasn’t changed in the last eleven years, and therefore, we should not annihilate the Canadian economy just to please the left wing extremists who insist on transferring wealth.

Plain text email, like these posts are never, ever “private” on the internet. They do know that, too. Their stupidity on this subject is what WILL put the boots to their fraud.
Notice they haven’t filed a police report, either. If they did, then all this stuff becomes “evidence” in the public domain in the eventual fraud cases that will arise if they do file this as a “hacking”. Not likely to happen.

I already emailed my MP, Harper about this. Like any others that I’ve sent in the past, never replied to. I don’t expect to hear from his office on this either. Here’s another thought: the Harper government cannot remain silent on this and follow what the US proposes on climate mitigation, or they can be considered as parties to a fraud perpetrated by the US government on their own people and exercising an influence on our Canadian economic sovereignty. I will not have my government follow the US government lead on this file, now that this information has been released to the public domain.

The point is, WHERE IS THE MEDIA, jt? That is where the discussion begins and ends and we all know it.
Not all Canadians, are computer savvy and know about this story unless we, the ones that do, enlighten them.
Politicians, are one huge part of the solution BUT they too are subject to coercion as this story,clearly indicates.
IT is not simplistic or idealistic, it is a matter of policies, investments etc, etc.
What we really want to know is why our media is so disappointing and unqualified and uninterested in TELLING THE TRUTH or at least reporting a synopsis of this story?
A few centuries ago it was determined by some very wise men that the state should not finance the Church. Its time we did the same with Science/Academia.
Speaking honestly here I’m not sure that the ’scientists’ at East Anglia weren’t doing their master’s bidding in the first place. Yes Mann, Gore et al were pumping the handle but I’m not convinced that they came up with the idea of pumping or if the idea of creating a mass panic to further socio-political ends wasn’t started by someone else. Being honest here, Gore is too dumb to pound sand without an illustrated, spoken word, instruction manual yet here he is leading this world wide cult. It is against all this background that I am announcing today the launch of a new high-powered all-party (and non-party) think-tank, the Global Warming Policy Foundation (www.thegwpf.org), which I hope may mark a turning-point in the political and public debate on the important issue of global warming policy. Very apropos to the latest little communique from Donolo who said Iggy wasn’t a Tim Hortons sort of guy and that’s a good thing because neither was Trudeau and it didn’t stop him from getting elected!
From Monte’s column, “what you’ll never hear at Tim’s are the things that Liberals talk about. No one sings the praises of the long gun registry. There is no angst over the treatment of Taliban prisoners”.
Perhaps if Iggy took a few whirls around the country chatting with folks in coffee shops he’s find out just how far out of the loop he is.
As Monte writes: Iggy uses question period to ask questions that fascinate the loopy left of the Liberal party such as when Omar Khadr is coming home”. One of the loopy left is the heir apparent to be crowned the next leader, Boob Rae.
There’s not much hope on the horizon with Donolo at Iggy’s service with his attitude towards the common folk who frequent coffee shops.

If Canada had a legitimate small-c fiscal conservative government they would stand up fervently and passionately as opponents of any kind of cap-and-trade system. Rather, the cap-and-trade system that left-plunging Harper and his left-wing environmental minister Prentice keep referring to is a stealth strategy for an enormous disingenuous, long-term tax increase on all Canadian households. Cap & Trade would evolve around an economic Ponzi scheme that includes an enormous new source of tax revenue to the Canadian government to allow it to continue to expand into the private sector, demolishing thousands of high paying manufacturing jobs, the emergence of global governance, create a temple of dome which would lock in devastating disasters for our children’s generation, and a devastating transfer of wealth from wealth producers to wealth wasters.
This tax increase and wealth transferring vehicle would immediately increase the costs of goods and services such as gasoline, electricity and a wide range of industrial products. The increase in the price of Canadian goods would make them less competitive. Canadian firms would suffer in export markets and domestically in competition with goods imported from countries that do not impose such a high implicit tax on CO2 emissions. There would no doubt be pressure to impose tariffs on imports from other countries that have lower carbon costs. Countervailing tariffs base on carbon content would hurt Canadian consumers, destroy thousands of jobs, and threaten our global trading system.
Any candid, forthright genuine small-c fiscal conservative would verify that the “Cap & Tax” tax system is nothing less that the extreme left’s new, socialistic approach to redistribute wealth from wealth producers to others. An ingenuous small-c fiscal conservative, contrasting our CINO PM, would divulge that the “Cap & Tax” system is just another version of Trudeau’s National Energy Program which also was created to transfer wealth from the west.
If Canada had a authentic, candid fiscal, social and judicial small-c conservative as PM, he would informed us that the climate has not changed in the last eleven years, and therefore, he would not annihilate the Canadian economy just to please the left-wing extremists who insist on transferring wealth.

Just as they did with the success of “the surge” and the subsequent turnaround in Iraq, the liberal media elites will attempt to ignore this story for as long as possible because, just like Iraq, it runs contrary to their ideological leanings.
But just as with Iraq, there will come a point where they won’t be able to ignore it any longer and they’ll have to either run with it or be mocked for having missed it entirely. Of course, Fox News has been all over it. But within the last 24 hours, CBS News actually posted a link to the purloined files on its website.
The story isn’t going to be quietly swept under the rug. The blogosphere is on fire with it, Penn State has announced that they’re going to be investigating Dr. Michael Mann, and it appears that the U.S. Congress is going to be launching a formal investigation of the scandal.
As if that weren’t enough, the CRU at East Anglia has, no doubt under pressure from the UK government, announced that it will make all of its files freely available to the public. If you thought the 61 MB of purloined data contained damning information, Lord only knows what they’re gonna find when they start rooting around in the rest of the CRU’s computers.
