On the Enigma that is the Prince of Darkness

Once in a long while he lets his guard down and you realize that he is actually human.

I watched the service and saw Warren take communion. It was apparent that he was very moved and until that link you provided,I was unclear of the connection.
    Very nice, indeed.

Romeo LeBlanc, was a lovely man and I felt when he became GG, took off his partisan hat. Although I am sure it was still there, he clearly was a man of all the people.
I give credit to his background and roots. The Maritimes for all their difficulty, create salt of the earth, Canadians.
    God’s speed, Romeo.

Yeah, he’s just a pussy cat, though not averse to making an ill-conceived joke about eating them in a Chinese eatery. Of course, as reasonable people, we know he was just goofing around when he said it but he had to take his lumps because he would never let that pass if any Conservative had said the same. That’s politics as he plays it and he got a dose back.

  3. Dave Tracey says:

From all accounts Romeo LeBlanc was a great man. Many could learn much from his example of quiet humility, not the least of which being Kinsella.

Bec said “I watched the service and saw Warren take communion.”

I missed that, I was busy watching Barney with my kids.

    “Zing”

    Absolutely and it is deserved!
As the preachier types (me) say, “two wrongs don’t make a right”.

while we get all warm and fuzzy, – lets remember the countless victims of this fraudster, who have paid an awful price for falling in this guy’s crosshairs – he [allegedly] makes stuff up, and then [allegedly] persecutes relentlessly – all to get in line for his [alleged] “entitlements”.

    Warren is an [alleged] idiot…period.
    [Allegedly] Human…so what?
    We all are…

    “[Allegedly] Human…so what?”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the problem in modern politics ever stated so succinctly.
When you start forgetting that “the other guys” are also human, you ARE the problem.
    Thanks for pointing that out.

Peter, I’m not exactly sure what your point is, but mine was simply to point out an excellent post by Warren K.

He is a great writer, but unfortunately that tends to get overshadowed when he gets into ultra-partisan sniping.

  10. dillon says:

Kinsella will soon tire of Ignatieff’s insincerity. He is not a family man and these are the values that Warren apparently holds dear.

  11. scanoo says:

I do agree that he is an excellent writer – he hoever, makes it imperative that he slurs and slanders all conservatives of import, on overblown minor flaws that he skillfully manipulates into massive high dudgeon. He forgets that the old liberal masters at same, would never write books about their tactics, which all thinking tories read, and know from whence he comes. We do hope he gets his in the end.

Nope, still don’t believe it. I say that after I picked my jaw up off the floor upon hearing that he took communion.
