Gayle – Dementia is such an ugly thing isn’t it? I notice that it tends to run in families for some reason.

Regarding separation, it has been bubbling just below the surface for some time, now. I suppose just waiting for the right conditions which may come to pass late on the 14th. Craig and Jane will be beside themselves but could wake up to a very different Canada, unless…..

Gayle, again how has the Liberal party changed to regain your loyalty? It is estimated by various scholars that Alberta lost between $50 billion and $100 billion because of the NEP. The Liberals continue to focus on central Canada where their base of brain-dead voters are. Dion’s Green Shaft will do the same to Alberta as NEP. Read it, there is nothing on cutting emmissions just on transferring wealth from Alberta to their social programs like National Child Care, another huge union bureaucracy to waste money on. Even the Liberal caucus has confirmed this.

Do you think Dion is the leader you and your dad are looking for, why? Once again please tell me why you are voting Liberal, is it that you hate Harper for stopping Canada’s march to socialist shared misery.

Gayle, if what the liberals did 20 years ago should not be a reason for concern why is there so much bashing, smears, investigations etc over what a candidate did/said 20 years ago, or what a politican did/didn’t do 20 years ago. You mean we should ignore liberal misdeeds but not conservative misdeeds.
OT, but my hubby is getting ready for the depression, he just made a second pot of coffee and forgot to put a fresh filter and coffee in it. YUK. He told me that is what his parents did in the 30s, like many others did, reused the coffee grounds.

So Gayle, supporting a Green Shift Tax is the “right” thing, like the NEP was at a critical juncture of which way the economy was going at the time, should be passed?

When people are losing their jobs because of events outside of their control, green issues take a back seat. That is reality. We are not “ruled” by our elected representavies, they are there to SERVE us.

Enacting green taxes at this point is economic suicide. Mr Dion does not have a grasp of real economics and TELLING us that green taxes are good for us, at this point in the economic cycle, doesn’t cut it.

I am not prepared to support Dion or Layton while they learn Economics 101 – on the job, with the future of my job at risk.

Because my father and I are smart enough to know:

1. Just because a political party did something over 20 years ago does not mean it will continue to do so forever and ever and ever…

2. The NEP was not the sole cause of our recession, which should be obvious by the fact that other parts of the country and the world were in recession too

3. Supporting the wrong man at the wrong time cannot be justified by the fact the other man belongs to a party you perceived may have wronged you at some point in the past.

I was kinda wondering that too Gayle, why after your father lost his business he continues to vote for the “eastern bastards” mind boggling really. The last “great western leader was Riel” He was right. John Macdonald resolved to hang him “though all the dogs in Quebec howl”. This has been going on as long as we have been a country, point is we are watching the blatant bias of the media, the lies and hypocrisy of Dion and Layton, the PHONY POLLS! We are not impressed Gayle and that is how Political movements start. Reference a “few pennies tax on tea”, fast forward to “the tax on everything” We are AWAKE Gayle and pissed off.

In our riding the Lib, a favourite cutie p’tootie, loves the photo ops, carries the Lib lies,charms the sheeple who have ‘always voted Liberal’…you get the picture…

is having trouble in our local polls!
Like I said …I don’t trust Nanos. The worst possible effect of these national polls is that it will discourage candidates.
