Well apparently this is a big deal to many in the news media.
Thoughts?
Politically I don’t think this will hurt Sarah Palin. If anyone tries to suggest that she should be home baking cookies instead of being a working Mom, they may be barking up the wrong tree.
Sarah Palin and her daughter are representative of today, U.S.A. A lot of women are going to identify with these struggles.
Kudos to Sarah Palin and her daughter for choosing life.
And kudos to Obama for stating that this topic should not become political fodder. Or is he concerned that American women may be identifying with Palin even more so now?

Tuesday Update: Wow. I just found out that Lowell Green has me on his short list of recommended blogs. I feel very honoured! Sandy’s list of Harper Accomplishments is also listed.
Please check out Lowell’s post related to Bristol Palin - The Democrats are Going Nuts!
Obama says babies can be a punishment. "Don’t punish them with a baby."
Thursday Update: Don’t miss David Warren’s thoughts about Sarah Palin!
I just came across this little gem on the CTV website quoting Harper communications director Kory Teneycke, regarding whether or not Elizabeth May should now be allowed to participate in any televised leaders’ debates:
"Our view is there should only be one Liberal candidate in the leaders’ debate."
Sweet.
Related discussion going on at ChuckerCanuk’s.
But unlike ‘Southern Ontarioan’, I don’t want Lizzie being forced to share her time with Dion if she ends up being allowed to participate.
I want to hear Stephane speak uninterrupted and without a media translation of Dion-speak into English.

Update: And who knew that CTV was biased against the Liberals???
