Greg Weston said it! So don’t blame me:
…As the passion of Barack Obama continues to stir America in his captivating presidential campaign of hope, a looming federal election will soon give Canadians a choice between Bully Boy and Mr. Bean…
Weston likely intended that as a put-down for both leaders, but can you imagine Mr. Bean having to make difficult international decisions? He can’t even decide when ‘Canadians’ want an election! His judgment is very poor and his lack of political savvy is worse. On top of that, he seems stubborn on the wrong issues and too easily led on others. (This is all my humble opinion of course.)
Weston continues:
…While Canadians continue to cite Harper as the best leader of the bunch to be PM by a wide margin, that may not be saying much when even Jack Layton is seen as better prime ministerial stock than Dion…
Another back-handed compliment but the polls do back that up. Harper is the stronger leader.
And a recently-released Angus Reid poll shows why the CPC may be so ready to pull the plug. Contrary to the Nanos poll which was referenced by Weston, this latest poll shows Conservative fortunes to be on the rise.
As much as Dion tries to change the channel, this election is going to be about leadership.
And even some die-hard Liberals are having a problem with Mr. Bean.
