Ya, he is taking a beating on his blog right now. All of the Garth groupies are try to defend him but no go. Why is the man so stubborn not to just stand up and post, I screwed up, instead he issues a back handed apology and then try to defend himself as Captain Canada. If Dion doesn’t censure him for this, then he truly is golden.

Interesting though, how it is headline news when he does it to Quebec, but the fact he did it to Alberta seems to pale in comparision??? In fact, until a Liberal insulted Quebec on this whole SHAFT, the insults to the west were not considered news?

The original comment was actually aimed at Quebecers. The insult to Albertans was simply gratuitous.
You know, I can’t help but reflect if a Conservative MP said something like this it would be scandal-su-jour. It would be all over the media, replayed ad nausum. We’d hear statements like: ‘this is what the conservative party REALLY thinks about Quebecers’ and ‘Harper’s hidden agenda’ and ‘Harper = evil’ and ‘the conservatives are all racist, see?’ and ‘RESIGN’.
Where is the media ‘outrage’ on behalf of Quebecers on this one?
The best way to deal with this idiot is to ignore him. Once this limelight craving dolt finds he is not the centre of attention, his ravings will become more outrageous to the point where, like the HRCs, he goes over the line and is exposed for the pathetic irrelevant twit that he is.

La Presse has another piece on this today which subtly contrasts M. Dion’s response to Turner (he reminded Garth that debate should be respectful) and PM Harper’s response in a similar incident (he tossed Garth out of caucus).
I wonder which one Quebecers think is the right response ???
One wonders why the MSM are not attacking the Garth or Dion on this issue has led me to believe that no matter what how where or when the liberals do or say is without a doubt in full agreement with the MSM.
Why do you think the liberals don’t apologize or have their mps removed is because the MSM does extensive job in coverup at the same time bashing other parties.
