What’s your health care priority?

Sex change operations - funded by the Ontario taxpayer .

Jeff Allen is discussing this now and I hope to pick it up again later. Just want to hear your thoughts. Personally, I think it’s a slap in the face to all those people waiting for cancer and cardiac treatment. I know it’s not a huge part of the health care budget, but I think it send the wrong message - George Smitherman is continuing to pander to his supporters.

Update : We schmucks here in Onterrible seem to be the laughingstock of the country

  1. My priority is not that of this Minister that’s for sure. Most of my community still doesn’t have a doctor.
I’m one of the lucky ones who recently got a doctor but have waited two months for a referral. I honestly got better service when I had to go through the medical clinic and an nurse practioner.

George and his boyfriends are sending this province into hell and the idiots in Ontariooooooooo put them in power. What a bunch of clowns.

  3. Not just eye exams - Chiropractic treatment and physiotherapy have also been delisted by Smitherman and Company.

Jeff Allen mentioned that infertile couples are still experiencing funding roadblocks and yet transsexuals get funding? It doesn’t pass the fairness test.

  4. As I said to Joanne earlier, Ontario will soon be a have-not province. It’s because of decisions like this that it’s well on its way. (Or maybe it’s only certain people that Smitherman wants to be have-not.)

  5. [...] I said yesterday , the amount of money may not be huge, but the optics are terrible. Also, the number of applicants [...]
