  1. Maybe he realizes he made a huge mistake with his hissy fit and changing parties and is too embarrassed to admit it and ask to come back.

  2. Mary T, that’s possible, but it sounds to me like he’s just sick of the whole thing. I bet Dion’s pressuring him to back down on M-446 too.

  3. He did say he was leaving, after the next election.

Could be over a year from now, based on the LPC strategy.

Should have stayed with the good guys. Exactly how does one get elected a Reform MP and morph into a Lib?

  5. Does after the next election mean he will run one more time. He said after not before.
Yes, I agree, he is probably getting pressured, and finally getting his eyes opened.

  6. Does after the next election mean he will run one more time. He said after not before.

I was wondering that too. I hope he stays on for a while.

  7. he plans to run again, as a liberal and then leave politics.

    where’s the disaster?

  8. Jeff, I’m glad to hear he is running again. It wasn’t terribly clear in the article. I hope he stays in politics for a long time. (Although I wish he were on the other side of the floor.)

There are so few intelligent Liberals, and one says he’s leaving. Doesn’t that seem disastrous to you?
