Blogging 101

Busy day ahead, so posting will be light.

This is a great, non-partisan article for any blogger to ponder - “Blog Alert” by Dan Zak, originally published in the Washington Post.

Lots of great tips.

I would only add this - Could we please put a moratorium on gratuitous vulgarity, and words like ‘lockstep’, ‘intellectually dishonest’, ‘wingnut’, ‘Neocon’, etc. which are quickly becoming blogging clichés?

I’m sure you can think of others.

Yes, ‘lemmings’ too. Even I’m getting tired of that.

BTW - New post coming soon related to the Ontario education debate. Various permissions had to be obtained first.

And can anyone please explain the seeming inconsistency here? (H/T National Newswatch). Greg Weston has a theory - Voters zoning out.

Maybe I can replace ‘lemmings’ with Zombies.
